Is the word "Jehovah" a magic word?

i started doing a great ammount of research and during one of my trips to the librairy i discovered that the word "jehovah" was a magic word and was used in magic spells and various occult ceremonies.
i learned all of this from a book about magic and secret societies.

Yes, the word "jehovah" is most definately a magical word.
I repeated it 7^7 (823,543) times and my head exploded. You can be sure that is going to leave a mark.
There is no invisible realm of existence populated by any form of 'spirit' beings. Whatever "magic" there is is all in your mind, right next to gods and demons.

Although I was at first inclined to agree with Father naeblis' thoughful insight, it occurred to me that there are other considerations:
What if you do not like your son?
What if during his five interminably long years, he's made your life a constant source of recrimination and regret?
What if you had a difficult childhood and feel that an "easy" childhood would put him in danger of becoming "weak"?
What if you feel that at five, it is time for him to stop "thinking as a child" and devote his life to the service of his invisible friends?
In such cases you should not allow the miniature tyrant to dictate your behavior.

in fact, the society has done just about everything it could do to ensure that its history will be forgotten.
in the first book devoted to discussing the history of jehovahs witnesses, this house and its history is not even mentioned.

If I recall correctly, Rutherford applied to the city to get a permit for burial at Beth Sarim and was turned down. If his bones are there, he should get a ticket.
As I reviewed the thread, I was caught by the idea of the Staten Island (NYC) burial site for "Da Judge". Does anyone know which cemetary this is? Is it a "Watchtower Graveyard"? I guess I could open that up and ask if anyone knows where the other former High Priests (Knorr, etc) are buried? Would people in the vicinity of these shrines to ignorance be willing to share photos with the morbidly curious?

just recently (last weekend) my younger brother met with the elders because he was engaged in fornication.
the elders decided to disfellowship him even though he had long stopped having any contact with the person he had been involved with.

Worldy friends vs. JW friends........
by LDH injust thinking out loud here.... when i was 19 and df'd for being pregnant (yes they knew i was repentant but told me i was to be used as an example), i ended up with no friends.. when i was 20, some four months later, and i was reinstated before my daughter was born, i thought for sure everything would be fine.
after all, hadn't i been reinstated?
wasn't i a valued member of the congregation?.

Road rage episode
by Introspection inok.. for those of you who may not know me from previous posts, all i can say is this is unusual for me and please do not judge me as a person for it.
for the other friends who know me by such, please take this into consideration when you read this.
i would like to get some feedback on this, perhaps from some of the folks from the martial arts threat joel started recently, especially if you have also read my other posts.. (hopefully a well balanced combo).
